Happiness

I've struggled with this blog title because I don't want people to think that I am being negative. It's a tradition that was started by my husband and he really wants me to use it as my title. So it's staying! Over the years the H-A-P-P-Y has sometimes had to be so forced. Sometimes I want to be grumpy! But I've also decided that if I say happy, and try to mean it, usually it happens. I want this blog to be about my family and the things that make us happy and sad so that we can remember that happiness is created. My favorite quote is by Abraham Lincoln, "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." It's so true. As a parent my goal is to raise happy, successful, responsible adults. As a wife and mother I can think of no greater gift than to be all these things for my loved ones. And to have fun doing it :) So here we go.........
